We would like to invite you to the Mediterranean Youth Climate Forum (MYCF). The forum will be held on the 17th of July 2016 in Tangier Morocco, at the eve of MEDCOP22 which will be held from the 18th to the 20th of July under the patronage of the President of the region of Tangier-Tetouan El Housseima.
Do not miss the chance to join the Forum If you are from one of the Mediterranean countries (France, Tunisia, Morocco, Greece, Egypt, Algeria, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Slovenia, Libya, Spain, Italy, Malta, Monaco, Cyprus, Montenegro, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Albania) and are work on climate change fields!
The Forum aims at connecting 120 young organizations and individuals engaged in civil society, entrepreneurship and politics from all the Mediterranean region, working on climate change issues in different fields: adaptation, mitigation, and resilience, through environmental education, climate entrepreneurship, international solidarity, environmental health, citizenship, agriculture/reforestation, lobbying, renewable energies, etc.
All together, they will create the first Mediterranean Youth Climate Network!
300 young local actors from Morocco, specifically from the region of Tangier, will join this incredible day of youth networking.
Young attendees will have the chance to take part in conferences, debates, discussions and exchanges around climate change and its impacts on the Mediterranean, and create partnership opportunities between each other and MEDCOP22 partners in order to develop their projects!
The MYCF will also serve as an excellent opportunity of mobilization of Mediterranean youth for COY12 and COP22 that will be held in November 2016 in Marrakech!
